Those blue folks ought not read this…

I’m tired and cranky and mind-fucked thanks to the two papers I wrote today. That took all day.

So pardon my hostility for a moment….

I am so fucking sick and tired of people making excuses for Obama. He fucking lied about keeping our health care coverage and now normal folks are losing their insurance right and left. It’s that simple. He lied. He knew it would happen and he lied about it.

I may not talk politics on this blog anymore, but I still follow religiously. Especially when some asshat of a president uses (abuses) his power to push his own agenda.

Whatever – I could have sworn this was the United States of America. Land of the Free.

Someone do me a favor and remind our POTUS of that, would ya?

*I broke my own rule about not talking shit about a President out of respect for the office.

Well fuck that.

  1. Oh man, you opened a can of worms.

I’m like you. I follow very closely, but rarely talk politics. Right now I believe I’m probably as pissed off as I’ve ever been.

    I’m screwed.

My policy is gone, what replaces it pays a lessor percentage and the new deductible is so through the roof I’ll never be able to afford to hit it.

I’ve been trying since day one to get through on the website and STILL can’t get past the login “success” page (which is blank). I can now look at estimated policy prices on the site, but because I live in such a rural area I have the choice between a grand total of TWO companies – neither of which I had ever heard of. The prices posted seriously made me cry. Almost FOUR freaking times what I was paying.

I know I’ll easily qualify for subsidies, but I have a HUGE issue having to have something subsidized that I’ve been able to pay for without problem up until now. It goes against everything I believe in to have someone else pay more so *i* can pay less.

And if anyone tries to tell me how much “better” the new policies are I’ll smack em. What I had worked perfectly for me. It covered everything that I needed to have covered.

I’ve had people tell me to call the “Navigators”..Well guess what? Our state made national news because the groups listed as “Navigators” had no idea they were supposed to be navigators.

Right now I’m trying not to think about it because it stresses me to no end — I’m seriously considering paying the fine this year and banking what I would have paid in premiums in a health savings account in case I need to see a Dr…and praying…a lot.

We got served up one giant steaming pile of shit and keep getting told it’s candy. But it “The law of the land” as we keep getting told, so we’re all screwed.
