Went to urgent care because the doc couldn’t get me in until next week. NP came in and told me that the reason I ache is because I take too many pills. (!) Told her that I have taken these pills for 8 years, and she said- that’s the reason. I told her no, and she said – this is urgent care, we don’t handle things like this here. I told her I have urgent back pain. She then got huffy and took off her stethescope from around her neck. I got huffy on my own and grabbed my coat. Told her if they couldn’t help me, then I would leave. Then I said I hope I get a survey. She said – I hope you do too.

Bitch.

How fucking dare you tell me I take too many pills. It’s not like I’m popping valium and loratab and shit like that. It was very embarrassing.  I didn’t know what to say.

Still don’t. I’m just floored.
