P90x
Ok, bare package p90x – about $140. 90 day program. Damn near guaranteed as told by everyfuckingperson I’ve talked to who’s tried it.
Or, the gym. At $50 a month, 90 days would cost $150.I have to leave my house, and that seems to be a problem.
Hmmmmm. Any thoughts ? Michelle lol?
It’s a great program but you will need some stuff to start off with- for a beginner, I would recommend a set of 5, 10 and 12 lb. weights and you will need resistance bands- at least a light and medium resistance. Now you can save a little $$ and use bands in place of weights and they will show you how in the videos. Yes, long term you WILL save money but there will be a little start up cost with getting the tools. Ultimately down the road though, you wil want to get some weights and a chin up bar. Right now the bands will be sufficient and you can get those at Walmart. Find a set of bands that have a door anchor- very necessary for your chin up/pull up modifications.
It really is a good plan for adding lean mass. If you are looking for fat loss without really adding muscle, look into TurboFire. Lots of HIIT cardio- will help you with the tummy area- and you won’t need to buy extra stuff. Everything comes in the kit if you buy from BeachBody. Les Mills Pump is another FANTASTIC program that comes with everything you need and will give you lean muscle as well. If I had to do it all over again, I would have started with Les Mills Pump before going to P90x. Both will kick your ass though. But from a cost standpoint, I suggest Pump because you won’t have to buy extra shit. If you would like to watch through either program before committing, I can loan you mine to watch through and decide. In fact- CYE.
