NOthing

Well, it’s done. Gloria is here. MB’2s taurus is history. It acted right for the first time in 2 years trying to con us into keeping it, but we weren’t fooled. They gave us $400. Good riddance. I’m sure gloria will act better. knockknockknock.

I’ll take a picture tomorrow in the light. Want to do it justice and all. THe boys are actually excited. Just as soon as we get the lift out, he’s going to get new carpet, get two new captains chairs, a new bench seat, and get a table. Probably two seats up front too. He can all this at the salvage yard for cheap. Like I said, he’s excited. So are his friends. They rode in it on the way home, and they were all pumped about it both before and after the trip. Go figure. Beauty is in the eye and all that jazz…..

I’m just glad we can use it. Now to see what we can do about securing a van for us. Going to call that church tomorrow because we drove by the church and it’s still sitting there. Maybe he lost our number. Yeah, that’s it. Hey, it’s possible. If not, then we will find something else. Something that was meant to be.

And I have a nice evening planned with my husband. We got a couple of movies and once the kids go to bed……

  1. You know, I can totally see a bunch of college age guys liking that van. It’s got that retro vibe that kids like these days- very hipster. ;-) The plus is that you don’t have to worry about getting him a vehicle- if he likes that fugly ass thing, let him have it and enjoy it and be grateful that you don’t have to come up with the cash to buy him one. See- you can still be genuinely grateful for that van. :-)
